Two hours from Cappadocia, you will find the beautiful Tuz Golu, the largest hypersaline lakes in the world! Not only will you walk along giant salt crystals, and see the most colourful sunset on the horizon, but you will get some stunning photos to add to your travel photo album and maybe even be lucky enough to experience the lake when it turns pink in the spring months.

Last year I finally opened up the vault to my travel-planning secrets and whisked a bunch of Travel Addicts on my debut group adventure. (And the demand got even higher!)

Can I bring a friend?
Yes absolutely! The more the merrier. If you have a travel buddy that you would like to experience this with, be sure to include their name on your registration form once you’ve signed up. This will ensure that you are paired together for your room share.

Do I have to share a room?
This trip is based on Double Occupancy only, there are no private rooms available due to the style of the hotel and the size of the group. Where possible we will do our best to supply twin rooms, however this is not always possible for every accommodation style.

How do I make payments?
You can either Pay In Full (discounted rate) via the payment link when you register, or you can pay the initial deposit followed by five instalments:​

What date do I need to arrive into Cappadocia?
You will need to fly into either Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) or Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) to be eligible for the airport transfers. Please arrive before 4pm on arrival day, and depart after 9am on departure day if possible.

Does this include international flights? What if I would like flights to be arranged?
The cost of this trip does NOT include your flights, so be sure to factor that into your trip cost. You can either book using a website such as Skyscanner, or we can direct you to a registered travel agent who will be more than happy to help and alleviate any stress when it comes to booking flights. will need to fly into either Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) or Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR) and we will arrange for transport to collect you.

Do I need a visa?
Depending on where you will be traveling from, there are likely to be visa requirements so please be sure to check this beforehand. To look at up to date UK GOV requirements please check here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/turkey

Can children come?
All guests will need to be over 18 to join one of our trips.

Who is this trip best suited to?
Any age is welcome! However, based on the activities in the trip and previous Travel Addicts groups we would probably recommend between 25 to 45.

Is this group trip accessible for those with physical disabilities?
If you have a disability or condition that you have concerns about, please contact us directly on sherilyn@thetraveladdicts.co.uk so that we can see if the trip would be suitable for you personally. Some areas that we will be visiting have a lot of inclines and uneven landscapes so it may be challenging, however, based on your personal situation, we would love to see how we can make this work for you.
