Stone Town
This historical town is one of the few remaining ancient towns on the African continent. Prepare for scents of sea and spices and beautifully carved doorways as you wander through this museum-like slice of history.

Paje
This laid-back, tropical village runs along the beautiful Zanzibari seafront, it boasts a 20km beach and is well-known for kitesurfing, beautiful sunset views and relaxing with a fresh coconut in hand. Expect sunset bonfires, sunrise yoga sessions and hammock naps in this stunning part of Zanzibar.

Nungwi
A vibrant and lively beach town that is bursting with beautiful resorts, restaurants and plenty of sunset spots to enjoy a cocktail or two. Head down to the beach for fresh seafood, breathtaking Instagrammable views and make the most of this being the perfect springboard into all of the water activities you can imagine.

Mikumi National Park
We will be whisking you away on a small plane to mainland Tanzania where you will get to experience one of the most insane bucket list experiences yet! A beautiful African safari complete with multiple game drives in a comfortable open-sided 4X4 vehicle and our expert local guide who will be on the lookout for us and you’ll get a chance to spot buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many more incredible animals in the wild. Bucket list GOALS! Lunch will be served deep in the Mikumi National Park in a shaded spot near a watering hole, where you can watch animals come to drink. In the late afternoon, you'll head back to the airstrip and return to Zanzibar in time for a vibrant and colourful sunset.

Fumba Town
Step into the fastest-growing town in Zanzibar. Here you will find the most modern properties, rooftops and developments on the entire island. You are a stone’s throw away from Stone Town where you can watch the famous ‘Port Jumpers’ show of their moves as they dive with style into the sea.

Safari Blue
Zanzibar’s most talked-about adventure. There’s even wildlife to see underwater in the islands surrounding Archipelago. This popular full-day boat tour in Zanzibar explores the marine life of the Indian Ocean and stops at some of the best snorkelling spots along the coast where you will spot colourful fish, coral reefs, and other underwater wildlife. You will snorkel in the warm Indian Ocean, relax on a secluded sandbank and continue into the mangrove forest, where you can spot even more local wildlife like birds, monkeys, and wild dolphins.

Can I bring a friend?
Yes absolutely! The more the merrier. If you have a travel buddy that you would like to experience this with, be sure to include their name on your registration form once you’ve signed up. This will ensure that you are paired together for your room share. In order to grab the Bring A Friend Discount, contact sherilyn@thetraveladdicts.co.uk and provide the names of both parties and you will be sent the discount code to book.

Do I have to share a room?
If you would prefer to upgrade to a private suite, you’ll need to be quick as we have limited private rooms available. It is purely first come, first served and the upgrade cost will need to be made in order to secure your private room. The room upgrade for the duration of the Zanzibar Only trip will be £725.

How do I make payments?
All payments are in Pounds Sterling currency (GBP) You can either Pay In Full (discounted rate) via the payment link when you register, or you can pay the initial deposit of £295 followed by four instalments:

When is the final balance due?
The final balance is by the 28th November 2023

What date do I need to arrive into Zanzibar?
You will need to fly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) on the 12th February 2024 and depart on the 18th February 2024 for Zanzibar only OR depart on the 22nd February if you have opted for The Full Package (unless of course you wish to extend your stay.) Please arrive before 5pm on arrival day, and depart after 5pm on departure day if possible.

Does this include international flights? What if I would like flights to be arranged?
The cost of this trip does NOT include your flights, so be sure to factor that into your trip cost. You can either book using a website such as Skyscanner, or we can direct you to a registered travel agent who will be more than happy to help and alleviate any stress when it comes to booking flights. You will need to fly into Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) airport and we will arrange for transport to collect you.

Can I add the Safari Package on at a later date?
Yes absolutely! The Safari package is available for you upgrade to at a later date. The cost for the upgrade will be £985.
​
**Please note, if the Full Package or additional safari upgrades are unable to meet the minimum numbers of four guests, this part of the trip will not go ahead and you will be refunded the difference in price.

Do I need a visa?

Can children come?
All guests will need to be over 18 to join one of our trips.

Who is this trip best suited to?
Any age is welcome! However, based on the activities in the trip and previous Travel Addicts groups we would probably recommend between 25 to 45.
​
Is this group trip accessible for those with physical disabilities?
If you have a disability or condition that you have concerns about, please contact us directly on sherilyn@thetraveladdicts.co.uk so that we can see if the trip would be suitable for you personally. Some areas that we will be visiting have a lot of inclines and uneven landscapes so it may be challenging, however, based on your personal situation, we would love to see how we can make this work for you.
